Description
We are an NGO that deals with equine-assisted therapies and education. We also work in the field, with orchards, fruit plants and forestry and natural environment.
Our horses live in freedom in a herd. We work with them in herd. Sometimes also individually, but generally all together.
Shortage of resources makes us need to seek voluntary help.
There is no water at the farm, we go to get it at neighbours with our pickup, and showers are limited.
Electricity with solar panels, Internet and telephone coverage are limited, too.
We are trying to reach autonomy and sustainability by leading new international projects in cooperation with our neighbours of the valley, such as creating a cooperative pedagogical farm to fight against desertification of our valley.
We look for people who are willing to get involved with our NGO ideals and no-lucrative scope. To help us, they need to be handy, and willing to help outdoors in the farm, for its maintenance, and for building and repairing structures in an eco-friendly, recycling, creative style, but also hard helpers, because helping in a farm is hard. We try to also have some community social life, by inviting neighbours for meals and activities, or playing music among the residents, mainly volunteers and students.
We work a lot with persons who have special needs. It is important to keep this in mind, and to offer solutions to the needs of our association's members, leaving at a side one's personal problems.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We are an Equine Assisted Education and Therapy centre. Mainly, we do professional education and training in the Equine/Animal Assisted Interventions, EAI, but recently we have started to work with the concept of a holistic healing nature, including the relationship with plants/forest. Our premises are close to Berga, Cardona, Puig Reig, Navás, Suria, and Manresa (Montserrat), in Catalonia, Spain.
There are only a few sessions of EAI, so we need help with caring for animals, building new eco-friendly structures in the field/forest, using recycled or natural materials.
The maintenance tasks are taking care of our plants and animals. There are horses, dogs, cats, and chickens, and mainly we work our orchards, planting, seeding, watering, cleaning, ordering the structures to have a safe and nice natural environment where to host our workshops and activities.
The main challenge is to repair old structures, and build new ones, in an eco-friendly, recycling, style. For this, we need people who have experience in eco-building, recycling, repairing, and creative/artistic handcrafting. We also wish to create new orchards, and maybe also put some art (sculptures or small buildings made of natural materials) around the field.
We start to think about creating project as pedagogical farm and ecological regeneration of our mountains, so, if you have skills in ecology or high inspiration, please come to help us :)))
It is needed to be clean, ordered, detailed, and polite with other volunteers and people who live or come to the farm.
Housekeeping and cooking are very welcomed skills.Languages

There are many places to visit around here. We can land a car to the volunteers to go, possibly in group, to have social life in the neighbouring villages, or we can drive them to some bus station.
