Help with gardening and DIY projects at our family home with pool near the sea in Saint-François, Guadeloupe

  Description

  We are a family with two very independent and curious teenagers! If you speak English or Spanish, they would be delighted to learn with you, but we don't need help looking after them, except perhaps driving them to their activities. Both of us are self-employed entrepreneurs and, like many people, don't have time to do everything... We work from home. One of us manages, among other things, the five gîtes (holiday cottages) we have on our property.
  
  We always need a helping hand with our house and especially with the gardening. There's 2,000 square meters of land to maintain. Please note that it's hot in Guadeloupe, so you need to be able to tolerate the heat, and the gardening involves pruning and trimming. It can be quite physically demanding, so we prefer to be upfront. The property is in a quiet setting 200m from the sea with a swimming pool, housed in a separate building used for seasonal rental (available only in June, September and early October)

  Nous sommes une famille avec 2 adolescents, très autonomes et curieux! Si vous êtes anglophone ou hispanophone ils seront ravis de pouvoir apprendre avec vous mais n'avons pas besoin d'aide pour s'occuper d'eux, si ce n'est peut être de les conduire à leurs activités. Les 2 membres de notre couple sont entrepreneurs à leur compte et n'avons pas le temps de tout faire comme beaucoup....Nous travaillons de chez nous. L'un de nous gère entre autre les 5 gîtes que nous avons sur notre domaine.
  Nous avons toujours besoin d'un coup de pouce pour notre maison et surtout pour le jardinage. Il y a un terrain de 2 000m² a entretenir. Attention il fait chaud en Guadeloupe, il faut donc être à même de supporter la chaleur et dans le jardinage il y a de la taille et de l'élagage à réaliser. Cela peut donc être assez physique, nous préférons prévenir. Le domaine est dans un cadre calme à 200m de la mer avec piscine, logé dans une habitation indépendante utilisée pour de la location saisonnière (disponibilité uniquement sur juin, septembre et début octobre)

  We live 2 minutes by car from Pointe des Châteaux, on the border of the protected area. The sea is 200m from each side of the estate with beautiful walks and beaches. If you are not French and wish to learn the language, we will be happy to initiate you.
  
  Nous habitons à 2 min en voiture de la Pointe des Châteaux, à la frontière de la zone protégée. La mer est à 200m de chaque côté du domaine avec de belles balades et plages. Si vous n'êtes pas Français et désireux d'apprendre la langue, nous nous ferons un plaisir de vous initier.

  Help

  We always have exterior maintenance to do which involves gardening, pruning and more. There may also be renovation work such as coatings, painting, etc.
  
  Nous avons toujours l'entretien des extérieurs du domaine à effectuer qui implique du jardinage, de la taille et autre. Il peut également y avoir des travaux de rénovation comme des enduits, de la peinture ....

  Accommodation

  We have 5 accommodations on our estate which are intended for seasonal rental, therefore in perfect condition. You will have total autonomy and independence as well as access to the large swimming pool. Depending on our reservations you will have one of 5 accommodations (only in June, September and early October). We provide accommodation but not meals because we wish to maintain a certain flexibility and autonomy in our organization which can be very variable. This is why we are looking for autonomous people.

  Nous avons 5 logements sur notre domaine qui sont voués à de la location saisonnière, donc en parfait état. Vous aurez une totale autonomie et indépendance ainsi que l'accès à la grande piscine. En fonction de nos réservations vous aurez l'un des 5 logements (uniquement en Juin, septembre et début octobre). Nous fournissons le logement mais pas les repas car souhaitons garder une certaine souplesse et autonomie dans notre organisation qui peut être très variable. C'est pourquoi nous recherchons des personnes autonomes.

  We are 2 minutes from the Pointe des Châteaux as well as 2 beautiful beaches. There is a bus that passes 3 times a day, but we recommend having a car, especially if you want to visit Guadeloupe.
  
  Nous sommes à 2 min de la Pointe des Châteaux ainsi que de 2 belles plages. Il y a un bus qui passe 3 fois par jour, mais nous vous recommandons d'avoir une voiture, surtout si vous souhaitez visiter la Guadeloupe.
