    Description

    Hello!

Two young guys here ! Jabber is a Mexican circus and tatoo artists and and Hugo a landscape architect and passionate about trees, plants and construction. We both love to travel and expand our knowledge on different fields, specially ancient traditions and natural medicine.

We are a gay couple and together we create a non profit organization.

In our main project, we create an edible parc that also works as a creative space for artists. . It is located in vast land traversed by a river and a forest running all along, whith two yurts and a small provençal country cottage, two huts working as kitchen and toilettes and two caravans for hosting. In the upper part of our land there's a patch of 2ha with cherry trees arriving at the end of their lives, in this patch we have planted hundreds of different trees trying to introduce a diversity that helps soil to recover from years of intensive agriculture. We also have two vegetable gardens on the riverside based in phermaculture principes and composed on permanent terraced lines, these gardens require a big amount of work, attention and love. This summer we will begin Temazcal ceremonies, a traditional ritual from mexican and lakota people starting in August first full moon.

We have a secondary project involving artists and neighboors from the village. We have created an outdoors stage to performs scenic arts, propose health and arts workshops and open a bar during artists residences and special events we organize.

These projects take a lot of work, organization, love and energy for us (Jabber and Hugo), its is a dream come true and we are really gratefull for all these achievements. There is still loads of things to do, so we need motivated and autonomus people who enjoy art, nature, working-hard and sharing. We require people who have already experienced woofing, eco-farming, do-it-yourself, construction, video-makers, computing or drawing to bring solid bases to the project.

We receive many request so before writing have a look to a list of the kinds of help we need.

GARDENING: Our garders require constant weeding, mulching and natural treatment. You have to able to recognize weeds from aromatic or medicinal herbs and some experience taking care of vegetables and trees.

BUILDING/MAINTENANCE: There's constant maintenance and improvement of the project, if you have skills on building furniture or handing tools and gardening tools it is a plus for us.

VIDEO/PHOTO: We look for video makers to create teaser and promotional video from our different projects, specially for the circus and our annual festival. Feel free to send your profiles to your websites so we can take a look!

DRAWING/PAINTING: Having a nice set of pictures and ilustration will be nice to improve our communication platforms

WOODWORK: We would like to craft a totem to protect the entrance of the land or creating other decoration sculptures

OTHERS: We are open to listen from your different proposals. Let us know how you imagine you can help us to improve this dream.

    Bonjour,

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We like to think about our place as a haven of peace in the middle of the nature, you will only hear the noise of the river and song of the birds. You can also go visit charming stone villages in the surroundings, remarkably Uzès, Saint-Quentin the Pottery and Lussan who are about twenty minutes by car. Less than one hour drive you can reach cities as Avignon, Nîmes, Alès or the beautiful natural areas of South Ardèche

As a gay couple is also interesting meeting volunteers working with LGBT associations for future artistic projets.
