Description
3 years ago we started with our project. We try to build up a sustainable and fair trade Durian, Avocado and Coffee Farm. Since we are still pretty in the beginning we are always open for new ideas to improve our farm and be more sustainable. Having new people joining us brings as well a lot of new energy into our team and we are always try to having fun while developing our farm.
The Farm is 7,5he big and just 20 minutes from the city center Pleiku, Gia Lai. It's located on a hill side with a stunning view.
The whole farm house got renovated and has modern bathroom and kitchen facilities (no squat toilets, haha)
The founder is half Chinese and half Vietnamese, born and raised in Germany. He works with his team out of 5 people on the farm as well (mainly in management and in the nursery).
One of the new projects on the farm is creating a coffee processing facility. With the beautiful relaxing location it would be fantastic to expand the farm into a camping site for visitors. So maybe you can help us with that as well.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are living and working with locals so you will see a non-touristic environment and will see how we live. Our team is a mix of Kinh-Vietnamese (most common ethnicity) and Jarai-Vietnamese (a minority group). It's always fun to see the differences in culture and language. We will show you how to grow plants, fruits, work on sustainable projects, developements, processes in growing Durian, Avocado and Coffee. Teach you how to cook, eat and drink like locals.
Help
We could need help with our new vegetable garden, which will provide food for ourself. We will teach you how to cook in a Vietnamese style. In the same time we need support in our nursery to take care of our young plants.
Our next project is to develop a coffee processing facility on the farm so any help is high appreciated. Developing the right concept and then following a project plan will be the way to go. There will be "brain work" and also physical tasks.Languages spoken

There will be two parts. Depending on the work we will either be staying on the farm. You can stay in the common room (mattress, mosquito net, blanket, shared bathroom). There are some days when we will be in the city so you will stay in the guest room at our house in the city (bed, shared bathroom).
We have a big common kitchen where our farmers cook as well. Food will be provided by our staff and if you want we will cook together and we will show you how to cook Vietnamese style fishes. What else ...
In your time off you can hang out at our little lake and enjoy the view, sleep, read, relax. The surroundings are beautiful to discover by motorbike. there are streams, and some mini waterfalls. The city has a huge lake which is beautifully surrounded by a needle tree forest. Our sunsets (if lucky) are stunning.
