Hi! I'm Jurij, an 18 year-old from Slovenia.
I speak Slovene, English, and some Croatian. I’m passionate about traveling, exploring new cultures, and connecting with people wherever I go.
I’m a big sports enthusiast. I train triathlon and love trying out all kinds of sports. I’m always curious to learn something new, whether it’s a sport, a language, or a cultural tradition. I really enjoy gaining experience and making friends from all over the world.
I’ve just finished high school in Slovenia and already had the opportunity to volunteer in Romania for two weeks, which was an amazing and eye-opening experience.
One of my biggest passions is gardening. I’ve been managing our home garden with my brother for over 5 years. I’m quite experienced in planting, composting,... However I'd like to learn more about permaculture, sustainable farming, and forest gardening.
I feel most at home in nature. I love walking barefoot in the forest, and discovering wild, peaceful places.
I run a small online business, so I do need a reliable internet connection during my stay.

I'm Matic, a 19-year-old baking and gardening enthusiast from Slovenia. I speak fluent English and Slovenian, and I’ve just finished high school. I’m passionate about learning - especially when it comes to anything related to homesteading, gardening, baking, or cooking. For the past six years, I’ve been gardening in our family kitchen garden. Over time, I’ve gained quite some experience in planting, composting, harvesting, and basic garden planning. I’m particularly interested in learning about permaculture, sustainable farming, and forest gardening. I love traveling, discovering new places, and making meaningful memories along the way. I’m always curious to try something new - whether it’s a new skill, a local recipe, a language, or a cultural tradition. I’ve already had the chance to volunteer in Romania for two weeks, and it was a wonderful experience. One of my biggest dreams is to one day create a self-sustaining community of like-minded people where we could live in harmony with nature and support one another.
