Description
I studied in an international school, recently I inherited a small farm that needs help to transform from a wild bush into a farm. I write poems. Traveling is my passion. Travelled all over India, England, parts of Scotland.
I did organic farming for 6 years, worked in various corporate companies but couldn't continue for long since my love for nature and the thrills of the wild was more important to me. It's always harder to follow your heart, but we have to start somewhere!!!
Basic work at the farm is already done. It's completely an organic farm, about 20 minutes walk from civilisation (a small village).
The farm is close to kodaikanal, perhaps the best weather, not too cold and definitely not too hot.
I am planning to build a small farm house and a few tree houses as well.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Traveller's get to interact with the local people who also work on the farm. Some traveller's visit their houses and even participate in the local Village festivals.
A small community of tribes live close by, they sometimes work for us, an interesting interaction with them is always on the card.
Traveller's can learn different skills, carpentery, farming, plumbing etc.Help
I am open for any suggestions, but for now help is needed to grow saplings of coffee and pepper. To maintain the farm, cutting of weed and to build a fence. Build tree house and mud farm house. Physically the work demand is high but fit individuals will find it normal.

I admit I miss our conversations.
Would recommend her to anyone whom she wants to volunteer at and with.
Hope to see you soon though!
Happy travelling!!
Senthils farm is a little island of tranquility. Its quite isolated, so it is incredible to connect with silence and the sounds of nature. I spent a few weeks painting a mural for the terrace and it turned out as one of my favourite projects yet. Since it was inspired by the environment, it also… read more
I only got to work at his farm (weeding only) for a few days though, because he got busy. Wish he had planned better.
All in all it was a very peaceful experience staying at his village.
