Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Our project it's also about creating a space for personal development, where we can reconnect with nature, learn new skills, and be part of a community that shares the same values and vision. By understanding the interconnectedness of all living things, we can create a culture of care and respect for the environment that extends beyond our own community.
Living in harmony with nature can also lead to a simpler, more fulfilling way of life. By focusing on the essentials and living in harmony with the natural world, we can find greater meaning and purpose in our lives, which can help us to build stronger relationships with each other and the world around us
We invite you to join us in this journey of learning, growth, and connection. Whether you want to learn about permaculture, sustainable living, or just want to escape the city, reconnect with nature or true inner self, It is the perfect place for you. We welcome individuals, families, and groups to come and stay with us and experience the magic of This place.Projects involving children

Help
Our mission is to implement the true permaculture principles and build a real sustainable system on our land, based on a design reviewed by Geoff Lawton’s team.
As we also want to build a community around our project and share our knowledge with those interested, we are opening the "gates" for anyone who wants to take part in this unique experience at our lovely retreat, to implement the design. This involves establishing a kitchen garden with raised beds, a market garden with compost beds, water systems (Swales, ponds, fountains, water tank placement, etc.), a compost toilet, a solar fruit dehydrator, panoramic view terrace, greenhouse, an Earth-bag Cellar, and a cabin extension.
We do not expect people that are coming here to know everything, we expect for people to be open to learn!Languages

For accommodation, we have one small cabin with a single and double bed that can accommodate 3 persons indoors, and we also have camping spots for those who like to camp in tents or hammocks. We have a summer kitchen for cooking meals, a lounge terrace, and a fire pit terrace. During the summer months, we have small gatherings of friends and family around the fire, with world music and sometimes real artists.
Our land does not have a running water system yet, but we can provide a place for shower or any other necessities in our own home located at the base of the hill, 10 minutes away by car. Our land is more like a nature retreat up on a hill, so if you like being in nature, away from the city, this is definitely a place for you. We are a welcoming and warm-hearted family of six people, a couple with a 2-year-old toddler, my brother and my parents. What else ...
Surrounding area:
Șimleu Silvaniei is a small town, with a population of 14436 people, dated in 1251 with a mix of Romanian and Hungarian speaking population in a mostly rural county of Sălaj, at the base of Magura hill-lock, in Transylvania.
There is a lot to see around this parts, hiking or cycling. In the center of the town there is a medieval citadel of Bathory dating from 1532. On these hills people have discovered lots of gold ancient artifacts that indicated there was an old settlement, named Dacidava. It was a Dacian fortified settlement, located in the North-Western part of present Transylvania, Romania where our ancestors dwelled around 335 BC.
Around the town there is lots of sightseeing places for you to visit, from natural formations like The Dragons’ Garden, Reservation Springs of Barcău with gorgeous surroundings and a beautiful natural waterfall on limestone hills covered by moss, Jibou Botanical Garden and more. All of this can be reached in a day trip by car.A little more information
