This is a seasonal Eco retreat, currently closed for the season. In the meantime we are currently developing and upgrading the property. Situated on 3 acres. Close to the historical village of Mayo Abbey and 2km from Balla. The site consists of a 3 bed traditional cottage, dairy sheds, hay barn, cottage garden and mature woodland. We are developing the site further, and enhancing the current grounds, encouraging growth of the native flora and fauna,

General maintenance of existing cottage and gardens, with plenty of scope for the creation of bio diversity gardens, bat/bird/bee boxes, planting of native wild flowers. We would like to develop the woodland meditation zone, herb garden and raised beds. Some other tasks may include timber processing, simple carpentry, painting, baking, subject to skill level and weather conditions.

We ask Workawayers to be flexible, willing to help out as part of a team and individually. Basic English or French would be an advantage, as would be any basic skills in carpentry.
