I came here initially as a house/pet sitter while Sarah and the girls were away for a few days, then ended up staying on when they were back, helping with some projects around the property (cleaning, painting, pulling some weeds). … read more messy and mischievous! I think they would really appreciate help from some easy-going, open-minded volunteers, especially anyone with 'Marie Kondo' type experience! ;)
You'll be rewarded with a home with a lot of heart, in a magical setting seriously close to some of the best beaches in NZ.

Sorry it's taken so long to leave feedback! Tutukaka coast is a beautiful and tranquil place to explore on the doorstep (having a vehicle would be beneficial). Sarah is a great cook, super relaxed and laid back environment with dogs and a super cute pig! The girls were both at school whilst we were staying and Sarah working, so we were left to
… read more help out round the house and garden: gardening, cleaning, clearing rubbish, building and mowing the lawn (as well as swimming in the pool). Lovely family, nice area, somewhat chaotic as you'd expect with two kids, two dogs, a pig and a building project! We stayed in our Van whilst we were there but there was a caravan on site for our use if we'd have liked. Sorry for the delay by providing this feedback. I stayed in this Family for two weeks in October and enjoyed the tranquility at this place very much.The house is not already finished which gave a untidy look first view. Sarah and the Kids are really lovley people ,was fun to go to the school festival and the Fireworks at the beach are a wonderful
