  On this 1-hectare farm, I am building a self-sufficient lifestyle, in deep connection with nature and with a genuine respect for the environment. Here, the pace of life is slow, simple and authentic, inspired by the ways of living of yesteryear, when working with your hands and the land was valued.
  
  My home is part of a larger 26-hectare property, where the land provides us with everything we need. A large garden, fruit trees, an agroecological orchard, and even an Australian tank connect us to a life in harmony with nature. The orchard not only provides us with fresh food, but also allows us to share our surplus with the local community. There are also some chickens that give us fresh eggs every morning and cats that add a touch of company.
  
  We are just 3 km from a picturesque town in the interior of Buenos Aires, with 7 thousand inhabitants. Here, town life is quiet and traditional, with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and the serenity that only a rural environment can offer. We get around mainly by bike, enjoying the outdoors, or in a classic Citroën 3CV, which is as nostalgic as it is practical.
  
  This is a place for those who want to immerse themselves in a country living experience, similar to that of our grandparents: working the land, growing our own food, and valuing simplicity. If you feel the call of a life in contact with the land, where every day is an opportunity to learn something new, this farm is the place for you.

  En esta finca de 1 hectárea, estoy construyendo un estilo de vida autosuficiente, en profunda conexión con la naturaleza y con un respeto genuino por el entorno. Aquí, el ritmo de la vida es pausado, sencillo y auténtico, inspirado en las formas de vivir de antaño, cuando se valoraba el trabajo con las manos y la tierra.
  
  Mi hogar es parte de un predio mayor de 26 hectáreas, donde la tierra nos brinda todo lo que necesitamos. Un gran jardín, árboles frutales, un huerto agroecológico, y hasta un tanque australiano nos conectan con una vida en armonía con la naturaleza. El huerto no solo nos provee de alimentos frescos, sino que también nos permite compartir nuestros excedentes con la comunidad local. También hay algunas gallinas que nos dan huevos frescos cada mañana y gatos que añaden un toque de compañía.
  
  Estamos a solo 3 km de un pintoresco pueblo del interior de Buenos Aires, con 7 mil habitantes. Aquí, la vida de pueblo es tranquila y tradicional, con supermercados, bares, restaurantes, y la serenidad que solo un entorno rural puede ofrecer. Nos desplazamos principalmente en bicicleta, disfrutando del aire libre, o en un clásico Citröen 3CV, que es tan nostálgico como práctico.
  
  Este es un lugar para quienes desean sumergirse en una experiencia de vida campestre, similar a la de nuestros abuelos: trabajar la tierra, cultivar nuestros propios alimentos, y valorar la simplicidad. Si sientes el llamado de una vida en contacto con la tierra, donde cada día es una oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo, esta finca es el lugar para ti.

  Help

  This season, Spring-Summer-Fall 2024-2025, I have several exciting projects planned to improve and expand the farm, and I would love to have your help. These are the projects we have in mind:
  
  - Building an insect hotel.
  - Completing the pond and stream.
  - Expanding the chicken coop.
  - Building a phyto-purifier
  - Setting up a greenhouse

  In addition to these projects, daily chores on the farm include:
  
  - Maintaining the orchard and garden.
  - Clearing the land.
  - Preparing firewood.
  - Feeding animals.
  - Other daily tasks: Various activities that arise throughout the day, adapted to the needs and seasons.

  Esta temporada, Primavera-Verano-Otoño 2024-2025, tengo varios proyectos emocionantes planificados para mejorar y expandir la finca, y me encantaría contar con tu ayuda. Estos son los proyectos que tenemos en mente:

  Accommodation

  I live in a rural house, and I have a room available for volunteers. Here's what you can expect:
  
  - Accommodation: The volunteer room is in my house, where you'll enjoy a quiet, country atmosphere. The indoor bathroom will be shared, so cleaning will also be a joint task. In addition, there is an outdoor bathroom with a shower available for added convenience.
  
  - Meals: Food is included during your stay. Generally, I prepare lunch, while dinner is free. On some days, we'll cook together, and on others, you'll have the freedom to cook according to your schedule. Food comes in part from our agroecological garden, guaranteeing fresh and natural products.
  
  - Food Preferences: On this farm, we are omnivorous but open to vegans, vegetarians, and other dietary preferences. We avoid the consumption of red meat, refined flours, and processed and industrialized foods to maintain a healthy diet.

  Vivo en una casa rural, y tengo una habitación disponible para los voluntarios. Aquí te detallo lo que puedes esperar:
  
  - Alojamiento: La habitación para voluntarios está en mi casa, donde disfrutarás de un ambiente tranquilo y campestre. El baño interior será compartido, por lo que la limpieza también será una tarea conjunta. Además, hay un baño exterior con ducha disponible para mayor comodidad.
  
  - Comidas: La comida está incluida durante tu estancia. Generalmente, yo preparo el almuerzo, mientras que la cena es libre. En algunos días, cocinaremos juntos, y en otros, tendrás la libertad de cocinar según tus horarios. Los alimentos provienen en parte de nuestra huerta agroecológica, garantizando productos frescos y naturales.
  
  - Preferencias Alimenticias: En esta finca, somos omnívoros pero abiertos a veganos, vegetarianos y otras preferencias dietéticas. Evitamos el consumo de carnes rojas, harinas refinadas y alimentos procesados e industrializados para mantener una dieta saludable.

  In your free time, you can explore the charming nearby town of 7,000 residents, which offers supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, a museum, and a library. You can also enjoy a siesta in the summer, relax in nature, or visit small rural towns and nearby lagoons. Here you can swim, go sport fishing, bike along rural or urban streets, and explore parks. Plus, you can take a dip in the Australian tank.

  En tu tiempo libre, podrás explorar el encantador pueblo cercano de 7,000 habitantes, que ofrece supermercados, tiendas, bares, restaurantes, un museo, y una biblioteca. También puedes disfrutar de una siesta en verano, relajarte en la naturaleza, o visitar pequeños pueblos rurales y lagunas cercanas. Aquí puedes nadar, practicar pesca deportiva, andar en bicicleta por calles rurales o urbanas, y explorar parques. Además, podrás darte un chapuzón en el tanque australiano.
