    Description

Hello, my name is Vanessa, I’m 34 years old, and I recently moved to Sicily. I’m originally from Germany, but last year my family and I decided to start a new chapter. We found a beautiful property in the countryside near Taormina and made the decision to relocate.

Now, we’re enjoying life on 10 hectares of land, surrounded by Sicily’s stunning nature, with breathtaking panoramic views of the coast and the Mount Etna. Our family also includes three cats and two dogs, who are very dear to us.

Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, we will need to spend more time in Germany at the beginning of 2025. Therefore, we are looking for a trustworthy and animal-loving person to take care of our beloved pets while we are away. Specifically, you’d be looking after my father’s dog. My partner, who will also be on the property during that time but living in a separate house, will take care of the other dog. You would have a cozy little house all to yourself. The dog is incredibly sweet but, being young and full of energy, requires plenty of attention and affection. Ideally, you have experience with dogs and could even teach him a thing or two. It is very important to us that they are well cared for during this time, and we would love to find someone who enjoys being part of our little paradise :)

Since our property is in the countryside, it would be helpful if you have a driver’s license and a car.

Immerse yourself in Sicilian culture while staying in an authentic Mediterranean house, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and offering breathtaking views of the volcano and the sea.

My boyfriend, who is Sicilian, will be more than happy to share insider tips to help you explore the area like a local. If you’re interested in learning or improving your Italian, we would be delighted to assist you and make your stay not only enriching but also a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange.

A cozy house with a terrace and a large garden. The house includes one bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen.

Since I won’t be around during your stay, meals won’t be included, but you’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen. Your only responsibilities will be taking care of the dog and feeding the cats. However, if you feel like it, you’re always welcome to lend a hand in the big garden!

    What else ...

Since we live in the countryside on a hill, having a car is essential for getting around comfortably. And while the road is passable, unfortunately some parts are in need of repair.
