    Description

Hi, I’m Alex! I’m in my mid-40s and share my home with 18 dogs (yes, it’s a busy but happy household!) and a wonderful roommate in her early 30s. I work part-time in town as a Fear Free veterinary technician and dog behaviour consultant, so animals are at the heart of everything I do. Please note I do not offer tours rather care for and train my dogs to run very short fast races for fun. It is all about the lifestyle.

I’m looking for a kind, reliable helper who enjoys being around dogs and doesn’t mind pitching in with the daily routines that keep our home running smoothly. If you love animals and are interested in helping out in a friendly, supportive environment, I’d love to connect!

    As of September:

A good fit will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for both people and dogs. Main roles include:

    - Assisting in maintaining cleanliness inside the house (daily vacuuming, keeping the kitchen tidy, and doing dishes).
    - Assisting with outdoor upkeep, including regular poop scooping.
    - Helping ensuring the dogs always have access to clean, fresh water.
    - Assisting in checking that dog bedding is always clean, dry, and comfortable.
    - Coming along on dog walks around the fully enclosed 9-acre property.
    - Opportunities to tag along for fall training runs with ATV starting in September (3–4 times per week).
    - Helping in preparing meals for everyone (the humans!)

    Who We’re Looking For:

    - Someone honest, compassionate, and comfortable around a large number of friendly dogs.
    - A person who doesn’t mind physical tasks and enjoys spending time outdoors.
    - Someone with good communication skills, who can express themselves in English or French for optimal interactions.
