Hi, I'm restoring an old village house, that my family has for a 100 years now. It was build during the turn of the XIX century, and has many things from that era, not only the buildings them selves, but also objects inside, like furniture, paintings, photos, documents, and stuff from the forge (yep, still there, my greatgranfather was a blacksmith) and barn. Since most of my familli moved to cities, the place was used, but not overhauled for 30 years, and since 4 years back I'm trying change it into a atraction for the local comunity and tourists, with the little recources that I have, and mostly my own work. For 3 years now, once a year the place is open to public, with a blacksmith show, sightseeing of the house and barn, and free local food. But after that it's back to renovating it again.
I'm looking for people, that would want to see how it was like to live and work a century ago and learn about the region, but also can bring some of their ideas to the project. Ofcourse there will be time for sightseeing, we have a small national park, and a mountains, thas actually a closed volcano near by, and lots of other stuff.
Since the forge and rooms are almost done, most of the work will be renovating the attic, barn, other outbuildings and working in a garden.
You'll be staying in the house (with me and my 4 cats :) ) in a private room of your choise from pictures nr 2 or 3 in my gallery.
I'll provide food, both local and experimental.
