Description
Centrally located for day trips to most points of interest on Vancouver Island. Kayak the tranquil shoreline with the resident otters, seals and seal lions. Wildlife is in abundance including Bald eagles blue herons and a host of other species. Pick fresh oysters/clams from the shoreline. Relax in front of a beach bonfire after a day of hiking the numerous pristine trails. We are very busy during the Summer, and need assistance with a variety of jobs around our home and property.

We need someone that is self motivated and has attention to detail. Whether you want to increase your English skills, explore the local indigenous culture, or just want to discover our beautiful Island. Forge through the forest for an abundance of mushrooms. Trails leading to pristine waterfalls. We welcome the chosen candidate to experience all we have to offer.

Help
Yard work, painting, house keeping, maintenance/cleaning and general up keep,social media, front desk & internet. We offer beachfront accommodation, sometimes shared (with one other workawayer) in our 2 bedroom beachfront home. We require 4-6 hr shifts a week, leaving you 3 full days to explore the surrounding area. Cell phones are prohibited during working hours.
We pay minimum wage, and try to grow an assortment of veggies for our workaway team. We are centrally located to most points of interest on the Island, and the bus passes twice a day. The shops and cafes are walking distance .5 klm from the property.

Accommodation
We provide one of our 2 bedrooms in our Beachfront Home. Both bedrooms will have helpers staying in them. Shared kitchen, bathroom, living room laundry room and beautiful furnished courtyard to relax in on time off. Occasional use of our kayaks when available. Use of a bike for local rides to markets, trails and farms.. Fish from shore, or pick a fresh feed of clams or oysters. We love sharing travel stories, and look forward to new views of the world

I have been traveling since I was a teenagers.... I just accomplished the hike up to Machipichu and am on a continuous search for answers. No loud crazy party's. Guitar at the bonfires is always a plus. Live Love Laugh and Learn is our motto
