  • Description

We are a non profit organization and recreation / learning center for the children from San Ignacio, Nayarit a rural small town in the Bahía de Banderas area. The children can be and feel free to express their feelings. It is a place to play, create, teach, learn, share, laugh and grow.

We are open Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm. There are 146 children that are a part of the kids club and there is on average 60 children and 4-10 staff & volunteers there every day.

Every day we have a different activities such as yoga, capoeira, art, reading etc.

We recently open a community farm, to grow organic food and help the local community, this community farm is a result of the current pandemic and the need of providing good quality food for the children of the centre and their families.

Our team of psychologists, teachers, artists, athletes, professionals and volunteers has built a program of art and sports classes and workshops, field trips and games to create new opportunities and a better future for the kids of this community.

We seek to change their present so they can have a better future.

We don’t accept punishment as a disciplinary method. We want to cut the chain of violence, aggression and frustration by implementing the reward system called “Token Economy.”

A key element to our work is emotional support.

We have 2 bunk beds on our land and we are now READY for AWESOME volunteers to come play with and teach the kids! Grocery bag provided every week to prepare your meals.

Please note we are on a rural community, we have solar electricity, there is not hot water or sewage system, we use a rocket stove to prepare meals.

  • Help

The list is endless! If you possess skills that would have positive impact on the children and community of San Ingnacio we would LOVE to hear from you! From farming, teaching and creating to technology, building and repair we will appreciate the support.

We would love people to come and make games for the kids (out of recycled materials and nature), gardeners to help with the garden, videographers to make videos for la casa.

We currently open a community farm to grow organic food for the community, we need hands to help us mantain this beautiful project!

We are open Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm. Volunteers will be needed during that time and perhaps an hour before and after for set up/clean up.
