    Description

We have a ten acre property in the beautiful Niagara region and are warm and friendly people who have travelled extensively and now are looking forward to meeting new people from all over the world as we prepare this "farm" for our retirement. We have had many guests over the years and love welcoming new people in our environment. Ernie is a genius with all things "construction" and can do pretty much anything. Maguite loves to organize , make things beautiful in her garden and in our home! We have three grown kids who we are very close to and stay in close touch with. So far we have hosted close to 100 "Workawayers" and from their feedback they all seemed to have enjoyed the experience!!!

We are adding this because of the situation with Covid.
While we try to be intelligent about it and use our own judgement we are following all the rules that apply to families, numbers of people that can gather, social distancing and cleaning routines.

    Details:
We like young ( or not so young!) COUPLES who will consider this place "home" and partake in the daily routine whatever that may be. We still have a business in Toronto so during part of the week you would have the freedom to organize your working hours and to enjoy the pool ( weather permitting) , the woods, the garden and the surrounding attractions. You will get to see Niagara Falls, enjoy wine tasting in this beautiful vineyard area. Go to Toronto and experience one of the most multicultural cities in the world. We will introduce you to family and friends and you will be able to enjoy the Canadian way of life with barbecues in the summer and bonfires in the winter.

We are clearing out the brush in our forest and landscaping it a bit! There is a garden to put in, lots of lawns to be mowed, wood to be cut, cooking and looking after two very friendly dogs and a cat. Help with the pool, and a bit of painting!!! We always come up with new projects so flexibility is a good trait to have around us. Strong arms, a sense of humour and a willingness to work is all we need from you, we will train you on any task needed and although we have a zero drug tolerance we love cold beers or some wine at the end of the day!!!

We can work out together the amount and times you want to exchange in. If you want to work longer hours for a few days and then take several days of that is fine. If you prefer to work shorter days and go off to explore each day that is OK too. at times, due to work obligations in Toronto we may need to be a little less flexible but we always try to make our workaways happy as they become our "kids" once they arrive.

We are not much for hovering over people as they work so a good work ethic is appreciated to ensure that the time done is the time agreed upon. We expect five hours per day.

All your food will be covered of course. Maguite loves to being cooked for but is always happy to clean afterwards.
