    We are a hardworking 'retired 'couple running a Charity horse rescue / rehabilitation Centre on a 5 acre organic farm. This is a unique opportunity and challenging experience to help, work with and be taught Communication and Connection training with young and rescued horses, , some with behaviour issues due to former abuse, including all the work involved with keeping horses, the aim being to rehome these horses into loving permanent homes. If you have the necessary experience and riding ability and think this is for you, contact us . Volunteer trainee students will be required to help feed, muck out ,water, and groom the horses as well as training and at times , for example if the weather is bad, help with other jobs such as general maintenance .

    Learning about'campo' living ( farm life ) in Spain and work involved running a horse rescue Charity and learning a new ' Naturel horsemanship ' skill.

    We need help with the horses as well as your skills to help us keep the place maintained. We can only take one volunteer at any one time so do not be to disappointed if we are not always able to host you . We now have 10 rescue horses and our priority at the moment is to continue and advance our training and rehabilitation programme and so we need trainees with natural ability and confidence, we practise communication , connection and combination training , All our horses our free to roam around as a herd which is not a conventional stable yard set up.Our help requirements are ; Short Term 1/ 2 weeks duration help with gardening and maintenance. Longer term 1/2 / 3 months for Volunteers with horse experience who are willing and able to learn our training methods.

    We are located in the countryside, 3 kilometers from COIN (the nearest town) ,where buses run to malaga/ marbella and the coast and on days off can provide a lift to the bus stop.A big shopping centre,La Trocha, is situated approx. 30 minutes walk from the house. We accept volunteers in September ,October, November ,December and March,April and May. (the summer months being too hot to work with the horses).
