    Description

Hello world! Welcome to the beautiful Kawartha Lakes. I'm starting a small hobby farm here, located 1.5 hours northeast of Toronto. Century home with mature fruit trees around. 8 ares of pasture with ponds waiting for a few happy animals to run on. Looking for friends who would like to experience a moment of quiet country life and help build the farm up.

    Help

Looking for either short term or long term help on the farm. I work a day job that requires frequent travelling, so right now there are no live stock on the farm yet. If you stay for a few weeks, the work would mainly be looking after the garden while I'm away (in case it doesn't rain for days). If you could stay for a few months or more then we'd start raising some chickens, ducks or maybe some sheep and alpacas!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There are plenty of things to do around: paddling or fishing in the Lake Simcoe or Balsam; exploring Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park; visiting nearby historic towns like Beaverton and Fenelon Falls, or travelling to Toronto to reconnect with the city life!
I enjoy a quiet and healthy lifestyle and look for like-minded folks (No big parties, heavy music, smoking, or drugs please).
