    Description

Hi there! We have a 10 acre hobby farm on Pender Island. We have chickens, ducks and geese. We love it here because of the access to the ocean all around and the vibrant small community! There are chances to hike coastal hills year round and possibility to see whales and orcas. There is a nice swimming lake within walking distance and access to a canoe. Previous guests have appreciated the local, organic food available on island and gourmet local fridges and farm stands. As the property is spacious, we would love to have people with knowledge of gardening and also carpentry and irrigation as we always have little projects coming up. Soon we will have wifi across the farm for digital nomads.

Our farm is walking distance from a nice swimming lake. We are close to a short hike with beautiful views of the gulf islands. Whales pass by the island frequently and can be spotted with the attached binoculars at the viewpoint. Local sports include golf, disc golf, drop-in soccer, volleyball and softball. We have an active farmer's market and there are bicycles available for use. Hitch-hiking is also encouraged on the island.
