Description
This is a project I started one year ago. After a number of challenging situations my life brought me to make some really big changes and I decided to move to Mexico. I am building a retreat space in the desert near Todos Santos Mexico. It is a very quiet and tranquil place. Most of the major construction is finished but I still have some other exciting projects I want to take on. The land currently holds a cafe/ concept store, a commercial outdoor kitchen, and a studio/ home for myself. There is an outdoor shower space and 3 glamping tents. I have a small vegetable garden and am hoping to take on more landscaping projects. I have 2 lovely dogs and a cat.
I am hoping to create community here and host events related to body movement therapy, dance, and general connection oriented activities.
I am so excited to share this space with others who are interested to collaborate.Types of help and learning opportunities

Baja Mexico is a very safe way to experience Mexican culture. Where I live is remote and the only neighbours are rancheros and there is minimal contact. There is a rich wellness community here with opportunities for participation in multiple events.
There are opportunities to connect with the ranchers in the area, practice your Spanish skills and observe the farmer lifestyle.
Please note that I live 20 minutes from Todos Santos, off grid (there is internet!) and will need to be ok with not being in town that much. Workers are welcome to join me when I go for errand runs or beach days.Help
There are a number of projects which I could use help with:
-construction of a temezcal or sauna
-construction of hiking trails
-small retaining wall
-landscaping and propagation of plants help
-cleaning of brush and garbage. Sorting
-constructing shelving
-constructing rustic outdoor furniture
-natural building projects using local materialsLanguages

Glamping tent. Comfy bed and duvet. Cooking and cleaning responsibilities will be shared.
Food will be provided. Mostly vegetarian but sometimes meat or fish. We eat very healthy here and have an amazing kitchen facility, wood oven, as well as a mini kitchen if workers do want to prepare their own meals.
We ask that workers share with meal prep and cleaning of the kitchen after eating. The person who cooks doesn’t have to clean! What else ...
Great surfing, hiking, wellness activities, beaches, mountains.
My lifestyle is very intentional and quiet. I usually have friends or family around. Most of my time is spent on the project these days. I believe it is important to work with a good heart and intentions. It’s important to me that people who come are very dedicated to do what they can to the best of their abilities, communicate regularity, join with group check-ins, respect the space.A little more information
