Welcome to a laid-back and unique accommodation nestled in the heart of Jericoacoara, one of Brazil's most stunning destinations. We are a small, friendly kite camp and guesthouse surrounded by nature, sand dunes, and the warm waters of the northeast coast.
We love welcoming open-minded, motivated people who enjoy the beach lifestyle and want to be part of our community. Our place has a relaxed, family-style atmosphere where guests and helpers come together to share meals, sunsets, and adventures.
Helpers may assist with reception, hosting guests, social media, maintenance, gardening, or kitesurfing-related activities depending on their skills and interests. In return, we offer comfortable accommodation, meals, and the opportunity to experience one of Brazil's most magical beach towns — with world-class kitesurfing conditions right on your doorstep!

Jericoacoara is one of Brazil's most iconic destinations, and staying with us means experiencing it like a local. We are deeply connected to the community, the sea, and the laid-back culture of the Brazilian northeast.
Workawayers will have the chance to learn about kitesurfing — one of the most exciting water sports in the world — in conditions considered among the best on the planet. We are happy to share our knowledge of the sport, the local culture, the food, and the Portuguese language.
Our team is international and welcoming. Around the table, conversations flow between Portuguese, English, and Spanish. We love learning from the people who come through our doors as much as we love sharing our corner of the world with them. Expect community dinners, beach walks, music, and genuine human connection.
Help
We're looking for friendly, responsible helpers to support the day-to-day running of our kite camp and guesthouse. Tasks may include:
- Welcoming and assisting guests at reception
- Assisting with social media content (photos, reels, posts)
- Light maintenance and general upkeep of the property
- Helping with kitesurfing equipment organisation and logistics
- Gardening and taking care of outdoor spaces
No specific experience is required for most tasks — a positive attitude, willingness to help, and good communication skills are what matter most. If you have experience in hospitality, photography, social media, or kitesurfing, that's a big plus!

Accommodation
Workawayers will stay in a shared dormitory room with up to 6 people. The room is clean, comfortable, and equipped with beds, fans, and lockers for personal belongings. Bed linen is provided.
Breakfast is included every morning. Lunch and dinner are not provided, but there are plenty of affordable local restaurants and food options nearby. Workawayers are welcome to use the shared kitchen area to prepare their own meals.
The accommodation is located within the Kitecamp property, so helpers are right in the heart of the action — steps away from the beach, the kite school, and everything Jericoacoara has to offer.
What else ...
A few things to know before you apply:
Jericoacoara is a car-free village with unpaved sandy streets, surrounded by national park. It is one of the most beautiful and unique places in Brazil — known worldwide for its sunsets, dunes, lagoons, and consistent trade winds perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing.
The nearest town with a bus station is Jijoca de Jericoacoara (~25 km away). Getting to Jeri requires a 4x4 or dune buggy ride — it's part of the adventure!
We ask that Workawayers be punctual, communicative, and respectful of our guests, team, and space. Since we live and work together, a good attitude goes a long way.
Days off are free for you to explore the lagoons, dunes, beaches, and everything the region has to offer. If you're interested in learning to kitesurf, discounts on lessons may be available depending on availability.
