Description
My name is Vittoria, originally from Italy I have moved here to call New Zealand my home.
I'm a single mum to 2 amazing kids, Freya-Rose who is just turned 5 and starting school and Lorenzo who will be 3 in April.
I'm an artist, I make copper wire sculptures and also work part time at a local Italian restaurant.
Kapiti is an amazing area, the beach is only 15 minutes walk from the house, there are lots of local cafes, walks and other outdoor activities.
Wellington is only 45 minutes drive or if you don't have a car we have a bus stop right outside our home that takes you straight to the train stationTypes of help and learning opportunities

We’re a warm and welcoming Italian-Kiwi family, and we’d love to open our home to someone from any culture. We’re excited to share all the wonderful things our area has to offer and, if you're interested, I’d love to introduce you to my art and share my creative journey.
While we’re open to anyone, it would be a bonus if you speak Italian, as I’d love for my children to have more exposure to the language and culture.
Looking forward to connecting!Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
I'd like some general help with household tasks and with childcare. So some experience with children would be great.
The Kindy and school are at walking distance so some help with pick ups would be amazing.
Hours of work can be flexible and fit around your schedule if you chose to also find work in the area or travel around on your days off.
It would be amazing to find someone who might want to feel as they are part of a family while away from homeLanguages

it would be a bonus if you speak Italian, as I’d love for my children to have more exposure to the language and culture. But I'd also love for my kids to be exposed to other languages and culturesAccommodation
Cosy double bedroom, it's not big but very cute. Bathroom is right next to you and the house is nice and secluded.
Most dinners I will be cooking but you are more than welcome to be part of meal prep if you want to share some of your cousine.
I'm out most lunches but if you let me know your food preferences I'll always make sure you have what you need for breakfast and lunch.
Either cooking 2 meals a week or cleaning after the meals is considered as being part of a household and not as work.
It's highly appreciated that you look after our space as your ownA little more information
