**Please note we can't take short term volunteers, thank you

We are a Sustainable Ecovillage and Holistic Centre located in the jungles of South Goa. Spread across 12 acres of sub-tropical forest, our traditional handcrafted and eco-friendly cottages and treehouses are surrounded by untouched nature. Immersed in nature and living in harmony with the incredible native flora and fauna of the jungle, the aim at the centre is to provide a uniquely nourishing and adventurous jungle experience that encourages withdrawal into the solitude and serenity of nature. Our primary focus is on encouraging conscious, responsible, and sustainable living practices by demonstrating a practical way to live a low-impact lifestyle as close to the earth as possible in a simple, comfortable and refreshing manner.

A truly adventurous, awakening, and authentic experience can be had living in an ecovillage in the jungle. An environment that encourages and promotes holistic well-being and the individual's search for truth and life purpose can have a profound and enduring effect.

Living by example, we are endeavoring to create a new conscious world as we dream it to be by contributing something worthwhile to life and the earth rather than follow the unconscious worldly ways of endless material acquisition. In harmony with nature and in sync with the timeless rhythm of life and taking solitude at the centre offers our volunteers a new way of conscious living out of the ordinary daily life.

Learn what it means to truly live sustainably by practicing sustainable living practices and by learning to live with less in a more minimalistic and natural lifestyle. There is also a culturally enriching experience available to volunteers working so closely with and as part of a team with locals and other nationalities from cooks to carpenters to yoga teachers alike. Gain knowledge on ecological living, holistic wellbeing practices and the local Goan lifestyle.

    Help

We are interested in a volunteer who can stay for a longer period of time (at least 2 month). It is important candidates enjoy interacting and are willing to socialize with guests, visitors, and other staff at centre.

As of now we are looking for volunteers who can teach yoga and workshops such as pottery, permaculture, cacao making.
We need volunteers who can help our kitchen team during busy hours.

We also need help with creating content, taking small videos of nature and special moments captured onsite, helping edit videos and posting them on social media.

Volunteers who are willing to work hard are always welcome as there are always many manual labour tasks in our space like moving furniture, gardening, removing mud for pondscaping etc. Any painting experiance is also wonderful to have.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

In exchange for helping at the centre, the volunteers will live in shared accommodation on the 12-acre property grounds. Living with other volunteers in a fresh, wild and unconfined environment that is wide open to the symphony of the jungle and its inhabitants in a simple and refreshing manner. The toilets and washrooms are outside and partly open to the sky. There is wifi but very little phone coverage in the rooms and we do not have an electricity backup generator in case of power failure. So there are no ceaseless distractions or man-made sounds. All visitors & volunteers are asked to live in an environmentally conscious and sustainable manner that conserves resources, reduces waste and encourages taking individual responsibility for our impact on the earth our home.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Resting at the foothills of the Western Ghats mountain range and listed as an UNESCO world heritage site, we are located in one of the the top 8 most biodiverse places in the world. There is an abundance of wildlife, waterfalls and beautiful jungle treks in the region making South Goa a nature lovers paradise. Our forested hilltop is perfectly placed just 4 km from the Arabian Sea, with the beautifully secluded ‘Butterfly’ beach and the busier 'Agonda' beach within walking distance. The local village of ‘Agonda’ is home to Asia's highest ranking beach and has a 2km stretch of restaurants and bars as well as any other local amenities you may require and the busier resorts of ‘Patnem’ & the famous ‘Palolem’ beach are also conveniently located around 10 km away. The South of Goa has a laid back and rural attitude and is home to all things alternative from yoga schools to tai chi or dancing to reiki and live music nights can all be found nearby. However this area and position is best suited to those who enjoy nature and a quieter lifestyle.
