Description
We have s a family-run guesthouse in the beautiful town of Theth, with over 15 years of hospitality experience. It is fully managed by us, with occasional help from kind and friendly people. Surrounded by majestic mountains and cheerful travellers, our guesthouse offers a warm, rustic atmosphere. We are ideally situated between Theth’s two most visited attractions: the Blue Eye and the waterfall.
We provide free accomodation and pay 300 euro gross per month for 6 hours per day, 5 days per week (2 days off) depending on the job and your role.
Our guesthouse is located a few kilometers from Theth, in a small neighbourhood called Nderlysaj. This community was largely abandoned after the fall of the government, but in recent years, families like ours have started to return and breathe new life into the area. Here, you’ll find a unique blend of rural life and growing tourism. This part of Albania is known for its stunning mountain landscapes and a variety of hiking trails. In your free time, you can explore nearby rivers for a refreshing swim or venture out on hikes, including sections of the renowned Peaks of the Balkans trail.
We currently have two buildings and thirteen rooms—and we’re in the process of building more. We also have a restaurant where we often host groups and visitors who want to taste our delicious, home-cooked food. During the summer, our family of six lives on-site, and we all take part in daily tasks and in creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, for the busy summer season, we would really appreciate some extra help. -
