    Hi! We’re Sander and Daria, passionate hosts sharing the beauty of Norway with travelers from all over the world. We run a variety of tourism businesses in Flåm, including food trucks, a guesthouse, an outdoor guide company, and a farm visit experience.

    This summer, we’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and make the season unforgettable for our guests. Whether you’re looking for a leadership role as a Food Truck Manager or want to be part of the crew as a Team Member, we’d love to hear from you!

    Repair & Maintenance Person for Outdoor Adventure Company (Paid + Housing)
    Are you a hands-on problem solver with a love for the outdoors? We’re looking for a repair and maintenance expert to join our guided tours company, specializing in kayaking, biking, and outdoor adventures.

    About the Role:
    This is a paid position with housing provided, starting at the end of May until early September, with the possibility to extend if it’s a great fit for both sides. Your main responsibility will be to keep our gear, vehicles, and storage areas in top shape so our tours and rentals run smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities:
    ✅ Repair & maintain kayaks, paddling gear, and camping equipment
    ✅ Ideally, bike repairs as well (bonus skill!)
    ✅ Conduct basic maintenance on company vehicles & motorboat (reporting major repairs as needed)
    ✅ Keep storage areas & workshop organized

    Other Duties May Include:
    🔹 Helping set up & clean gear areas
    🔹 Running errands or assisting team members
    🔹 Moving & organizing equipment
    🔹 Loading/unloading vehicles

    Bonus:
    We’re ideally looking for someone who’s open to a mixed role, combining equipment supervision with working in our rental shop and even occasional guiding, if interested.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Handyman/Carpenter (Paid Position):
    Confident with carpentry and general renovation tasks.
    Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
    Must have an EU passport or a valid work visa for Norway.
    Previous experience is required.

    Volunteers (Less Experience Welcome):
    Eager to learn and assist with odd jobs on houses, barns, and the farm.
    A great opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on experience while enjoying life on a Norwegian farm.
    We currently have two carpenters on-site through Workaway, but one will be leaving in three weeks.
    We’re looking to add 1–3 more skilled carpenters or handy persons to the team.

    Assisting with various renovation projects on the farm, houses, and barns.
    Completing tasks such as woodwork, repairs, and general maintenance.
    Collaborating with the team and adapting to evolving project needs.

    Food Truck Manager
    Key Responsibilities:

    Schedule employee shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    Monitor and count inventory to avoid shortages or overstock.
    Analyze sales trends and suggest ways to increase efficiency and revenue.
    Foster a positive and productive work environment for the team.
    Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met.
    Support and train staff to deliver top-notch customer service.

    Qualifications:

    Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    Previous experience in a similar managerial role is a plus.
    Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
    A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
    Excellent communication and people skills.

    Food Truck Staff (4-6 staff)
    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and serve delicious, simple food offerings, such as burgers, chicken wings, ice cream, coffee, and fresh juice.
    Provide excellent customer service in a friendly, welcoming manner.
    Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food truck.
    Assist with restocking and inventory as needed.
    Qualifications:

    No previous experience required, but enthusiasm and reliability are a must!
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak times.
    Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

    What We Offer:
    Competitive wages: 25,000–45,000 NOK per month, depending on hours and role.
    Flexible work arrangements: Full-season or shorter-term (2–3 months).
    Days off: 1–2 days off per week, with potential for longer breaks upon request.

    You can join our guides and learn how guiding works, learn about hospitality and how to operate a hostel or food business.
    We can teach you how to kayak and you can use our kayaks as much as you want. We have some stand up paddle boards too.
    There is a very social atmosphere with staff from all over the world, come together to work in Flåm.

    It's a tiny town, but it's filled with international people and activities in the summer.
    We have kayaks, sups, e scooters, and camping gear that our workawayers can use.

    We are surrounded by nature with endless possibilities for hikes and outdoor activities.
