    Description

Ranch in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. My place is based on 320 acres surrounded by crown land. That means no neighbours and plenty of wilderness. The nearest town is Quesnel, BC, which is close to an hour away. My place is secluded, and there are endless opportunities to do wilderness activities.

I shoe horses for a living, and for fun I have a herd of 12 horses. I pack them and ride them on the trails and in the mountains. Alot of them are youngsters, so in my spare time I'm working with them.
There is also an elderly woman who lives on the place who does healing work with people and animals.

I am mainly looking for help with house minding, and helping the elderly lady with things she made need help with, but there will be plenty of opportunities for someone to learn the different skills I can offer if they would like to learn them, such as horseback riding, learning to train horses, packing horses, fencing, trail building and much more.

I have 12 horses and 7 dogs, so a healthy love for animals is a must:)
My place is mainly technology free. If you'd like a place to disconnect from our crazy world, and reconnect with nature and animals, this is the place to do it. If you're somebody who needs to have your phone with you all of the time, it's probably not a good fit.
If this sounds interesting to you, message me and we can chat more.
    Thank you
    Colleen

They'll be able to enjoy many different activities that nature has to offer, such as riding, hiking, canoeing, and fishing. Also, if they wish to learn more there will be plenty of opportunities for someone to learn the different skills I can offer, such as horseback riding, learning to train horses, packing horses, and much more. A like for dogs is also beneficial, as I have 7 of them, and they are in the house as well.
We are a team when it comes to household chores, so workawayers also have to be willing to help inside the house with meals and tidying up.
