    Description

We are a married couple in our 50's. We built a large family home and then said family all created their own lives and moved out. Now we are left with an empty home and a farm to care for (as well as trying to work full time). You would ideally be helping us with basic farm maintenance, gardening, mowing, brush cutting and weed removal, cleaning and chores. You will not be working in our business or be involved in any form of income producing. This is about easing some of the burden that comes with farm maintenance.
We are easy going and friendly people. Who you are and what makes you tick matters more to me than your previous job history. We have a small building project that we are working on and I would love to find someone to help my hubby with that. Plenty of weed control, mowing, gardening tasks. You would have your own spacious room with living area and TV plus your own bathroom.
We are less than one hour to Noosa, Maroochydore and Nambour. 30 minutes to Gympie. We have an abundant amount of walking trails, nature areas, kayaking, fishing and biking areas. Meals are provided as long as you are happy to eat with us (we eat Ketogenic) no sugar, no carbohydrates, no processed foods.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are very family orientated. Previous backpackers are still in regular contact with us years after they have left Australia. I value honesty and integrity. I value family minded and respectful people. We love to share our way of life, our way of eating, our sports and hobbies and our family with travellers. We love to learn and we love to teach.
