Hola adventurous spirits,
My name is Claudia, i'am an active 54-year-old woman who has completely changed her life and started living semi off-grid.
Surrounded by the tranquility of nature on "the mountain", with beautiful views just a 15-minute drive from Valencia.
I am looking for handy Workawayers who can help me with all kinds of tasks.
People who really enjoy creating something and have ideas.
I have two sons aged 24 and 27 who unfortunately cannot always be here, but my faithful four-legged friend "Liv" is my buddy and watches over me and the house.
So you must be a dog lover.
My dream and goal is to transform my house and land , into an oasis for spiritual gatherings, retreats, yoga, etc. to help people learn to live more consciously and mind-full.
And also try to grow my own fruit and vegetables.
I am very handy and often unstoppable, but unfortunately due to artrosis, I have to dose more and I could therefore use some help to realize my dream.
I regularly go to Valencia to dance, eat and meet friends, and it is no exception that friends come to my house, or that I organise small spiritual gatherings.
I also need silence, peace and being alone.

Let me take a look at some of the tasks that can be done here:
* Painting inside and outside,
* Brick plastering or tiling,
* Helping on the vegetable garden,
* Pruning trees/hedges
* Repair/renew the fence
* Building shelters above a caravan.
* Building a carport
* Plumbing tasks, connecting water tanks, installing a watering system for the vegetable garden, Connecting hoses, etc.
* Hanging/attaching things indoors.
* Transform a separate room into a bedroom.
* Sweep the terrace.
* Feed the dog if necessary.
* Cooking, tidying up and cleaning together.
You help from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then relax in the afternoon and do your own things, or hitchhike to Valencia to discover the beautiful city or go on the dance floor, do some shopping etc.
I prefer non smokers and no abuse of alcohol.
No drugs!!
If you are someone who has your cell phone in your hand all day, then you have not come to the right place.
Wifi works reasonably well here but cannot be overloaded, otherwise we won't all be able to enjoy it.
It can be very warm here in summer, including the nights.
I really appreciate it if you show initiative, don't have to be guided in everything and think about things yourself before asking questions and can also help independently.
We are not connected to the water supply, so water must be handled with care.
There is an excellent water system, but you have to be able to make a mind switch.
You can take a shower every day, but for a very short time.
Renting a car or having it yourself would be very nice because we live secluded, so there are no shops within walking distance.
The village with necessary shops is a 5-minute drive away.
Or else there is a bicycle at your disposal so that you can go out yourself, or cycle to the village to take the metro yourself and explore.
Of course, if there are spiritual activities, you can also participate in them (except if they are women's meetings and you are male:-))

Accommodation
You stay in a caravan on the land, if it is available.
The caravan is fully equipped: double bed, hob, heating, toilet, sitting area and a separate building with shower and toilet.
If the caravan is occupied you will stay in the house, where you will have a room and share the kitchen and bathroom with me.
I really value my peace and privacy at home, and I don't want to have conversations, especially in the morning and evening.
In addition, I am very clean and tidy and expect the same from you.
You keep your own room clean and we jointly keep the shared areas clean and tidy.
You will receive 3 meals per day:
Breakfast: bread, sweet toppings, sometimes egg, ham or cheese, or possibly yogurt and oatmeal if you want, and coffee.
Lunch and an evening meal with a beer or glass of wine.
You can also use water, soft drinks and tea throughout the day.
I'm not a real meat eater, so there won't be much meat on the menu.
This is also new for me, so we will discuss the distribution of who cooks and the times in due course.
Everything you consume outside the home (snack or drink, for example), even if we are together, is at your own expense. Outdoor activities are not “work or time.”
Upon arrival I will pick you up from the airport, if desired.
And upon departure/end of our agreement, I will also take you back to the airport.
In case of premature departure, transport will be entirely at your own expense.

In your free time you can do what and where you want. I will help you wherever possible to find your way or figure things out.
