If you get the chance to stay with this amazing family, don’t pass it up! I stayed only 3 weeks but would have stayed longer if it weren’t for plans I had already made before arriving. They’re the kindest, most thoughtful people, always checking if everything is okay and showing me around in their free time as well as offering rides to the city.

I’m going to miss them so much; we played lots of different games (Sami is the cluedo king) and just hung out, reading books and doing a bit of homework (both are a couple of smarties). Andre is not only a super talented artist but also a really good cook and always made sure I had plenty to eat. I’m going to miss the late nights of watching Lost and eating Fonzies with Elena who, despite working like a madwoman, never fails to find time to hang out and spend time with the family. Even if you don’t fall in love with the city and mountains (which how could you not??) you’ll undoubtedly fall in love with this family.
Thank you for everything! I’m going to miss y’all so much and I can’t wait to come back!❤️❤️❤️

Short staying but special!! we would have loved to keep her forever with us. She only stayed for a week and I don't normally accept any offers for short staying but it was just a gift a great experience always willing to help very capable with the kids, she managed to understand their different personality and created a special bond with them.

I stayed with Elena and Andrea for 6 days in the beginning of March 2022 [unexpected circumstances]. She was incredibly kind and flexible to my situation, supplying her home with vegan food and fixing a room for me to sleep in :D. Andrea made the most amazing food for all of my meals, and I oftentimes enjoyed having a spritz with Elena and

Fair warning, Elia will ~koala~ jump you after only a few hours in their home, and cuddle you whenever you are least expecting it. Sammy is full of energy and bounces off the walls most days, but has a very competitive focus level when you finally sit him down for homework time. I could not recommend this Workaway more— between being able to go to Palermo during the days and weekends and the breathtaking views of Monreale at night surrounded by good company, Elena and Andrea's home is a not to be missed experience. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
