Description
We are an little family of 3, Per (70), Inger (51) and Vinjar (12). We have a beautiful small farm on the west coat of Norway. Apart from the humans we live with 2 alaskan huskys, 5 hens, 4 goats, 5 sheep and 6000 m2 of land. We are dedicated in our work with culture and nature. Taking care of the old houses, gardening, growing and preparing food and living as close to nature as possible. Our place is rather isolated and staying with us you have to be comfortable living far from people. Inger is an actress but has for the last years been working for an outdoor organization with making kids and adults play outside. She does workshops in cooking and outdoor activities. Vinjar as a cool kid who is brought up with a campfire instead of a TV and is used to help his mum and dad both inside and outside. Per used to be a a craftsman and was working an a traditional open air museum for the last 30 year. Wintertime he trained as a sled dog musher, but now he has great health issues and can no longer be of any help at the farm, unfortunately. So we would welcome you to assist us in cooking, taking care of the animals, simple tasks around the house, gardening and some light painting. We are not looking for a professional, but for people who wants to learn and who likes to use the brain and the body. We believe in sharing experience and knowledge and would love to accommodate you to share and to learn about you. It is importantly for us to let our son grow up with the understanding that we are all one big family just works and lives together.
