    Description

Hi we are called Ayla and Kalo. We live in a the middle of the oldest forest in Europe. 30 min walking to the next village (faster by car on a bumpy road) where you can find a train station!
Since we came here about two years ago we did some construction and gardening. We are doing everything by ourselves, using Kalos incredible knowledge and many creative solutions to tricky situaions. We love it.
We live in harmony with our surrounding and try to support what we like rather than fighting what we don't. You will propably encounter wild animals (dears, boars, foxes, voltures etc) and hear them too (owl, birds, etc). In rainy times we are blessed by mushrooms.
This place is what people make out of it. That's why we like to have people here who have a drive to do things, to learn together, to make this world a fullfilling place. Or in other words - people who enjoy being alive.

Kalo knows a lot about construction, electricity, mechanics, wood, leather...

Ayla knows a lot about wild herbs - which to eat and how to use them for smaller health issues. She also knows how to turn pine needels into small baskets, and other thing to use directly from nature.

    Help

We would like help with our new born baby (laundry, cooking, cleaning) and with the work on the land (infinite things to do - you can choose what is most attractive). If you have experience in babysitting, building, DIY or gardening that's great. You will never be left alone with the baby.
Our philosophy is that everyone only does what s/he wants to do. Joy is the drive of action. If nothing wants to be done, nothing should be done. If there is curiosity, joy, interest in material or knowledge, this animates us to step into action.
There is a lot of different things that can be done and it's up to you what you choose doing. For example there is a little house that needs to be finished (windows, doors, bulding a plattform for the bed etc), we want chicken and need to make a home for them, wood cutting, gardening, cleaning the land...
We expect 4-5 hours of help 5 days a week. You can organize your working time yourself and you can take a day off whenever you want - just let us know.
