    Description

I run a kangaroo shelter, hospital and on site vet clinic for wildlife. Set on 60 acres of native bushland it is home to many species of native animals.
I have a team of volunteers that live locally and enjoy getting to know people from overseas also.
I am in my 50's and love caring for our beloved kangaroos. From the fully grown adults to the little joeys. I'm vegan, swear too much and rarely leave the property. I think I have associated with my captors :)

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I worked in cultural exchange for 20 years and hosted many exchange students during that time. I've found the best experience was when we all relaxed and acted and spoke normally.I like to tease a little but expect some back

You'll be working with another volunteer each shift unless they have a day off. Sometimes you'll work alone, other times with another helper.I'll teach you as much as I can about kangaroos
