  We are looking for people with gardening and home maintainance, including small building projects.
  
  We are a portuguese family, Clara (47) and Luis (47) with one child, 2 dogs, 2 cats and chickens based in a rural house with a land in the interior of Portugal, Ferreira do Zêzere.

  We can practice Portuguese language, connect and dialogue with our family, our performing arts background, dance classes, meet the local community, visit our cultural and performing space. We are available to learn new skills and teach some of our professional skills.

  We are looking for people with gardening and home maintainance, inluding small building projects.
  
  Due to our professional life and not so much knowledge in these areas, we need a hand in helping or sharing knowledge in taking care or maintanence the land, gardening, to plant, dibble, small works related with homes for animals (building a small house to the chickens), small works with carpentry. Sustainable agriculture, ecological ideas, landscape art, etc. We can also collaborate in the work together. Helping our ideas/projects involving some of the following: permaculture/sustainable land management practices and creative projects. New ideas, knowledge, Learning new skills, exchanging ideas are very welcome.

  We can provide a clean and secure bedroom and a bathroom, and a shared kitchen. But is possible also camping. We can offer one meal a day.

  We live in a small village named Pias, 5 km away from city center of Ferreira do Zêzere.
  Ferreira do Zêzere is a small city and around this region there are beautiful places to do river baths, trails and beautiful local sights to visit. Like Dornes (10' min.). The nearest bigger city is Tomar (15' min.), Coimbra (40 min.), Fatima (35'min), Leiria (45'min.), Ocean beaches like Nazare and Peniche (more or less around 1 hour by car), Beach of Vieira in Leiria ( 48' min.) and 1h40 by car to Lisbon and Oporto. Tomar has a train station that has trains to Lisbon (2 hrs).
  There is a library in the city center, coffees, supermarkets, traditional festivities, also a public swimming pool, monuments, churches. There is the Castle of Tomar, the City of Templarios, there are a lot of places and history to know and visit, concerned cultural heritage.
  
  We reccomend, to have your own independent vehicle to move around, rent a motorbike or a car.
  It is also important to us, that you maintain the space used cleaned and organised, respecting spaces, animals and people. We have one bycicle we can share.
  
  In the city center of Ferreira do Zêzere there is a long-distance bus terminal to Lisbon, Fatima and Oporto.
