I am a single man in my 50s, though many people assume I am much younger. I think I have a very youthful attitude and outlook on life. I am currently self employed and work from home. I have traveled in more than 50 countries around the world and have also been very active in hosting international guests in my home for more than 20 years
Help around the house
Help with Computers/ Internet
I have traveled in more than 50 countries around the world and have also been very active in hosting international guests in my home for more than 20 years. I am very knowledgeable about the world and especially Chicago. I have a wide array of interests in music, film, traveling, history and culture. I think I am a fun guy to hang out with.
I have a small apartment building and I am mainly looking for help in painting an interior back staircase and also some areas in the basement. Separately and less importantly, I am also interested in learning how to create and edit videos from material I have shot on my Samsung smart phone.
I live in a large two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the Edgewater neighborhood in Chicago. It is a short walk to the lakefront and public transportation that can get you to the heart of the City in under 30 minutes.
I am a fair cook, try to have a healthy and balanced diet and have most of my meals at home. I would be happy to cook for two, but would also welcome my guests cooking contributions if and when they are up for it. I would expect my guest to grocery shop with me and also to help themselves to meals as they see fit.
There is no shortage of things to do. I live in a neighborhood that has many restaurants and shops, you can walk to the beach or the popular Andersonville commercial district in 10 minutes. There is a Whole Foods as well as a public library at the end of my street. Loyola University is a half mile away.
