  Hello!
  
  We live in beautiful Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island with our young family. We have two big dogs, a three year old and a newborn! We love the ocean and mountains and spending time outdoors.
  
  We live in a quiet neighbourhood right on the beach, and walking distance to town and all your local amenities.
  
  With our kids and dogs keeping our days busy, we would love help with keeping our half acre property and garden organized, clean and tidy, and our newest project of building a sauna and plunge tub!

  We are very friendly and so are our dogs! We look forward to learning with you about native plant species, growing a veggie and floral garden, building fencing and stairs to withstand the natural weather here. Our neighbourhood and community are also very welcoming and friendly with lots of activities going on throughout the year. Parksville has a vibrant community with lots going on, music, arts and outdoors.
  
  Bonus - we live right on the ocean, so you can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming from our house everyday :)
  
  We are walking distance to the main town (15 mins). There are buses through town to Nanaimo and 30 minutes to the ferry to take you to Vancouver. We are also en route to Tofino. A very central location to explore all that Vancouver Island has to offer.

  Help

  We have all sorts of projects we are always working on...
  
  Gardening - We have half an acre that has lots of potential and a lot of projects I'm looking to get done! Would love your assistance in general garden maintenance, hedges trimmed, weeds to be pulled, maintaining veggie garden, planting native species and learning what is best to grow in our climate.
  
  Carpentry - lots of things that need to be fixed around the house - decks, fences, stairs...
  We are also building a set of stairs down an embankment on our property to the beach! An extra set of hands with outdoor carpentry / stair building experience would be wonderful as we work on this project.
  
  Sauna - we would love to build a new mini outdoor sauna!
  
  General house upkeep - cleaning windows, pressure washing, painting, there are always lots of things to do around the property so any handy skills you have to help is great!
  
  Cooking - if you like cooking, it is always fun to make food together to fill up the deep freeze!

  You will stay in our coach house - 650sq ft, one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and cozy gas fireplace.
