Description
ONLY GIRLS (because little Nina is happy with big sisters :-))
We are looking for some help FROM SEPTEMBER. The kids have grown up now (the youngest, Nina, is 12 years old), so the help is mainly with light housework, especially dinner, and the dog Iris.
----
Hi!
We are a very lively family who already had many many wonderful workawayers! (we are still in contact with them and we can provide their numbers for reference :-))
Mainly: preparing dinner, folding clean laundry, bringing Iris out to the house garden, buying last minute grocery. And feeling part of the family! This is essential. We like very much to chat and exchange ideas and stories at dinner time. Also, you are always welcome in the family living room. The exchange is an essential part of workaweyer for us, we love hearing new stories and exchanging ideas. As a time schedule, the ideal is that you keep three hours in the afternoon for us (17-20), during whose you can prepare dinner and then eat with us.
The house is beautiful, right in the center of Milan, with a big garden and an ancient cloister. The family is very cheerful and you never feel lonley (three kids chatting and going round all the time :-)).
In the photo you can see the whole family: Alice (mamma), Giampaolo (father), Giulio (16), Diego (19) and little Nina (12)... and Iris (dog)!
Giampaolo and me are both researchers, in philosophy (me) and maths (Giampo), and I'm also a yoga teacher.
From here you can visit Milan walking, you can reach all center spots in a few minutes.
We would prefer to find someone who could stay for a few months (MINIMUM ONE MONTH). -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
There are very good opportunities to travel on weekends, Italy is full of art and history in every region for you to discover. From the house, you can reach walking all historical spots of the city center.
Giampaolo is a professor of math and I teach philosophy, we would be glad to share our research. The other great passion of the house is music: Giampaolo and Giulio play piano and Nina plays violin. We would be glad to share this too.
More in general, we love to know more about the visitors' countries and to tell about ours as well. We already had three au pairs and we had a great exchange with them. -
