    Description

Hi, I'm Pat, one of the founders of the women organization in our beautiful town. I live with my partner and two kids right here on the property where our guesthouse is. We're proud to run an organization that focuses on helping women by teaching them useful skills, like job training and business classes, and working to help the community.
Our main goal is to help women grow by providing them with learning opportunities and skills. We are dedicated to giving women the tools they need for empowered and independent lives.

    What We Provide:

Learning Useful Skills: We teach a variety of practical skills, from hands-on tasks to advanced business lessons. This helps people get better jobs and become more financially independent.

Business Classes: Apart from job skills, we offer extra classes that focus on starting and running your own business. This helps women develop the skills to create and manage their own businesses.

    Living Arrangements:

    Accommodation:
We have a guesthouse where you can stay. It's a cozy place that helps us support our work. When you stay with us, you get a taste of local life and play a part in what the NGO is doing.

    Living Together:
My family—my partner, our two kids, and I, Pat—live here too. It's a friendly and welcoming place where you can make real connections. Also, many of our students work here at the guesthouse, which is not common in Ghana. They can both work and learn, and it's something special about what we do.

    Volunteer Opportunities:

At the moment, our greatest need is support in the hospitality side of our organization, especially in the guesthouse kitchen and daily operations.

    Hospitality Training & Organisational Support:

As our guesthouse also functions as a practical learning environment for women in training, we welcome volunteers who enjoy supporting organisation, structure and mentorship within a small hospitality setting.

Volunteers may assist with areas such as kitchen organisation, stock systems, workflow improvement, guest experience, staff mentorship and sharing practical hospitality knowledge with our local team and students.

We especially appreciate volunteers who are flexible, proactive and comfortable working in a community-oriented environment where learning and daily life go hand in hand.

    Social Media & Content Creation:
If you enjoy storytelling, photography, video creation or social media management, your skills can help us share our mission and daily life with a wider audience.

    Fundraising Assistance:
We also welcome volunteers with fundraising experience or creative ideas that can help support our programs and future growth.

    Future Agricultural Project:
We are planning to start a mushroom farm in the future and would love to connect with volunteers who have agricultural knowledge or experience.

    Requirements:

*Passion for women's empowerment and education
*Relevant skills and experience for the chosen volunteer opportunity
    *Open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity

    Why Volunteer with Us?
By becoming a volunteer here you have the opportunity to contribute your skills to meaningful projects while experiencing life in a small town in the Ashanti region in Ghana. Your efforts will directly support the empowerment of women and the sustainable growth of our organization.
