    Description

We are a mother daughter duo (Nikki, 39, Emmy, 6) who live on beautiful Vancouver Island. We spend a lot of time hanging out at home being cozy. In our spare time we love visiting farms, parks and the beach. We enjoy singing, arts and crafts, movies and our Christian community here in Victoria BC. My daughter also loves playing multiplayer games, in particular Wolf Quest and Wildcraft, and we are looking for someone who would enjoy playing these with her.

We have a loving cat, Minou, and a small dog, Coco. Coco is very quiet and is full of compassion, kisses and cuddles! Minou is very snuggly and friendly too.

We are blessed to live in a spacious 2 bedroom house with a backyard with green space, garden and fire pit. We are a short walk (within 5-20 mins) from shops, cafes, a mall, green spaces and beautiful Willows Beach. Getting downtown or to Dallas Road Beach and Walkway is a short, direct route by car or bus.

We are looking for someone who can stay longer term and someone who is mature, self managing, independent, confident and has a deep love and understanding for children. We are looking for another female. Counseling, social work and children/family backgrounds will be prioritized. We would love someone who is trauma informed and understands neuro-diversity and related relational styles. A clear record is also necessary, as well as references.

The right person would be warm, patient and engaging with kids and enjoy a family environment- and able to set their own boundaries.

Feeling comfortable cooking a little is also important - we love whole foods and are gluten, dairy and food dye/chemical free. We would appreciate support with making meals and snacks.

General cleaning tasks like dishes would also be a part of the trade. :)
