    Description

Welcome, traveler! We are Daniel (33), Brigitta (32), and our son Ivan (1). I'm Daniel, a former globetrotter. After my travels, my partner, Brigitta, and I decided to restore this nearly 150-year-old granary, which you can see in the pictures, with our own hands. For the past three years, we've been working every weekend and after work to make this dream come true: to finally move in and start our small self-sustaining farm. This is a life project, our dream, and our passion. We work very hard to lay the foundation for life here. In 2024, our little son was born as well.
There is a lot of work of various volumes on the farm, and help is always needed.
We are working on several different projects at the same time.
Our main projects at the moment, where help is always needed, are: gardening, heavy
tasks, language learning, and animal care so You can choose the one that suits you best. IMPORTANT, please keep in mind: we are a farm located far from everything. The nearest small village is 2 km away, which can only be accessed via a dirt road. From there, several cities can be reached.

We are a farm relatively isolated from civilization, but we are often visited by friends and family, and we also go on trips from time to time, although rarely due to the animals.
We would love for you to be a part of our peaceful, idyllic environment as our guest. You can learn a lot about architecture, gardening, cheese making, and in general, what it’s like to live a lifestyle like this in such a n off grid place.

Welcome, traveler! I'm Daniel, a former globetrotter, now hosting you. After my travels, my partner, Brigitta, and I decided to restore this nearly 150-year-old granary, which you can see in the pictures, with our own hands. For the past three years, we've been working every weekend and after work to make this dream come true: to finally move in and start our own small self-sustaining farm. There is a lot of work of various volumes on the farm, and help is always needed.

We are working on several different projects at the same time. Our main projects at the moment, where help is always needed, are: gardening, heavier tasks, language learning, and animal care so you can choose the one that suits you best. Basically, we need help with language learning, especially for German, French, and Italian. In addition, you can help with gardening and house building, as there is still a lot to be done. Tasks around the house, such as firewood collection and wood cutting, are always important projects for us. So there are different tasks of which you can choose the one that suits your interest the most.

IMPORTANT, please keep in mind: we are a farm located far from everything. The nearest small village is 2 km away, which can only be accessed via a dirt road. From there, several cities can be reached.

    Accommodation

We can offer a caravan, which contains a bed and some more space to relax. We can provide bath facilities in the house, and there is a compost toilet outside. (During the day, of course, the toilet in the house is also available for use.)

We don't follow any specific diet. We are often busy, but we try to cook lunch every day. We of course provide three meals a day, and if you get hungry, feel free to help yourself. If you require a special diet, please let us know in advance.

    What else ...

On days off, we will try to arrange transportation to nearby cities if you'd like to relax. We work a lot, but if we have time, we can even go on a hike together. On weekends, friends and family often visit, and we gather around the fire to chat, listen to music, and enjoy each other's company.
This is an optional activity, participation is not mandatory, but we warmly welcome you to join us.
