Here at our farm we're passionate about growing top notch veg, fruit and herbs. We started out with a polytunnel, a couple of spades and a commitment to producing food that is healthy for people, the planet and communities.
You'll find us nestled at the base of the Lomond Hills in Fife, cultivating a beautiful 5 acre plot. We farm in an environmentally conscious way such that we encourage biodiversity and feed the soil. We currently supply shops and restaurants in Perth, Dundee and St Andrews as well as offering weekly veg boxes.
We also use produce from the farm to cook vegetarian street food for events and farmers markets.

Falkland is a vibrant village and a hub for small scale organic growing. We are in very close proximity to two other organic farms, so there is lots of opportunity for socializing. If you are musical you can join in with the local folk sessions at the pub every week. There are also frequent craft workshops held on the estate.
Around the village there are fantastic walks and mountain bike trails. We are also just off route one of the national cycle network. Despite Falkland being a rural community we are very well located and trips to local towns and cities such as Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee and St Andrews can be made very easily.
Edinburgh is a very short journey away by bus or train and is a fantastic cultural centre, particularly if visiting in August whilst the festival is on.
We're looking for like-minded, enthusiastic individuals, couples or friends to help us around the farm. Main jobs will include sowing, planting out, weeding and harvesting. Other jobs may include cooking for market stalls, maintenance and building, beekeeping and attending markets and trade shows. If you have any specific skills or talents let us know!
Helpers can choose between a private room in our cottage in the village of Falkland or a small caravan on the field. Bikes will be provided to explore the local area. Also, camping at the field is possible, and we can provide tents.
We are both 26 years old, and our interests include food (cooking and eating!), music and art and outdoor activities. We are very happy to introduce you to the area and give advice about things to do, but as the growing season
can get very busy you may need to be quite independent during your free time.
