Description
We live in a rural village in Österlen, in southern Sweden, where our small farm is neighbouring upon a beautiful national park and is located a 25 minute walk from the beaches of the Baltic sea. We need help with gardening and with other farming activities. For the moment, the family members living here include a mother, father and a 16 year old son. We have three cats and we often have some horses grazing in the pasture.

We are hoping for a language and cultural exchange: We want to know about your country and in return we will show you ours! We will eat dinner together and I will be happy to work together with you in the garden when possible. I'll be happy to teach the guest(s) what I know about gardening. If we do activities elsewhere – like visit an art show or have dinner with friends – you're very welcome to join us. We'd also be happy yo take you to places we love here.

Mostly gardening: Plant stuff, remove weed, help with the compost, prune bushes, cut old branches, things that you do in a garden during springtime :)

Yes, we really hope for "language bath" in either french or hebrew. In return, we'll be happy to share english (or swedish) with you.
Accommodation
A separated house in a beautiful environment close to walking trails in a forest or on beaches. (We live in another house just beside.) The guest house has a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom, a living room and a sauna.
What else ...
We allow cats and dogs in our houses. Horses and sometimes sheep are close. So persons with allergies would suffer.
We go to work and school during most part of the day but will be happy to do tasks with you when possible. The house is a 25 minutes walk from the bus station, but you can borrow an electrical bicycle or we give you a ride. Even if we have neighbours closeby the place might fell a little bit isolated and rural. Either you love to be be on your own, or you'll want to be 2 persons to work and discover the area together. This accommodation is for those who love nature. It's a very nice part of Sweden. With the bus you can reach really nice walks, our closest town Simrishamn, and beaches. We live next door to the national park Stenshuvud that offers a beech forest, a long sand beach and several view points.
