Description
Help us with household projects in beautiful surroundings!
We are looking for one or two handy volunteers to join us for 1–2 weeks this coming October. If you enjoy having a cultural exchange with a Canadian family, helping and spending time outdoors, we’d love to host you!
We have had a few Workawayers here and love sharing our home and culture!
The Projects
We have a few key tasks to complete before winter sets in:
* Installing deer fencing to protect our garden/property
* planting shrubs and doing garden clean up
* Miscellaneous small projects and fixes around the space
* Tidying up and organizing inside and outside
*Who We’re Looking For
You should be comfortable being outside helping with planting shrubs and general household help.
Stay Details & Schedule
When: late October
Duration: Minimum 1 week, though 2 weeks is preferred to complete the projects.
Hours: Around 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week, leaving you plenty of free time to explore the area, relax, and enjoy the crisp autumn weather.
What We Offer
In exchange for your help, we offer comfortable self contained accommodation in our one bedroom (plus sofa bed in living room) beautiful waterfront garden suite.
You’ll have your own kitchen to prepare meals (groceries provided) -

We’re looking for a Workawayer to help us organize our indoor storage area: packing and stacking totes, sorting items to keep or dispose of, and creating better order in the space. Good organization skills are essential.
