    Description

We are a growing eco-project located in Sauce, San Martín region, in the Peruvian Amazon — one of the most visited in the region. Only one and a half hours from the city of Tarapoto.
We are an open-minded couple who decided to return to our roots with awareness and purpose. Our vision is to create a self-sustainable space based on permaculture, bioconstruction, natural medicine, and conscious tourism — as a way to support and protect the Amazon.
This is not just an ecolodge. It is a regenerative life project. We are learning to live in harmony with the land, cultivating our own food, working with natural materials, and reforesting surrounding areas to preserve this beautiful ecosystem.
We believe sustainability goes beyond tourism. It means building responsibly, consuming consciously, respecting local biodiversity, and creating a space where people can reconnect with nature and themselves.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are a French–Peruvian couple who speak Spanish, French, and English, so communication is easy and it’s a great opportunity for you to practice and improve your Spanish in a natural way.

We love meeting people from different cultures and creating a relaxed and friendly environment where everyone feels at home. For us, hosting Workawayers is not only about help, but also about sharing experiences, stories, and good moments together.

Cooking is one of our passions. We enjoy preparing meals and sharing them with our guests, and we love exchanging recipes and discovering new dishes from around the world. Food is a big part of how we connect with people.

We also have many stories to share about our cultures, travels, and life here in this beautiful region. We’re always happy to learn from others and create a meaningful cultural exchange.

If you enjoy nature, simple living, good conversations, and shared meals, you will probably feel very comfortable here.

Experience the opportunity to live off the grid, practice your Spanish, and be part of a welcoming community surrounded by nature.
As well, thanks to the diverse ecology and geography of San Martin, where the jungle (selva) meets the mountains (sierra), the region serves as a prime location for all things adventurous and fun.
