Description
Welcome!
On a magical island between two volcanoes we are manifesting our dream project. The land is providing us with 2.5 hectares where we plant, build, live and preserve nature.
Ometepe is located in the middle of lake Cocibolca, and thanks to its twin volcanoes Concepcion and Maderas it is a biodiversity reserve. This wonderful paradise island is a great place to live adventure in the jungle, see howler monkeys, socialize, connect with nature – and most of all connecting back to yourself.
Our permaculture farm is right at the foothills of the Maderas volcano and only a 5 min walk away from the lake. A part of our land is still wild and we want to preserve it. We are offering a Bed & Breakfast at the moment, and soon also Yoga classes & small events on our movement platform which is currently still in construction.
We are looking for support in the following areas to develop the beauty of our project:
Long term (3-4 months)
- Volunteer Team Lead
Mid-term (minimum stay 4 weeks)
- Hands-on support in gardening, permaculture, construction work & daily workflow
- Yoga- / Meditation Teacher, sharing class once or twice per day
- Content production / Photographer, recording and editing events, workshops & the daily workflow
