    Description

Welcome to our little slice of paradise in rural Quebec, where sustainable living meets natural beauty! We are Mihkel and Beatrice, a dynamic couple with a passion for nurturing the land and living in harmony with nature. Our 160-acre homestead, nestled between Papineauville and Montebello, near the picturesque Ottawa River, is an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

In 2014, we traded the urban chaos for the serenity of rural life, and we haven't looked back since. With my Estonian heritage and Beatrice's French Canadian roots, our multicultural background adds richness to the experience we offer. Our two young sons are the heart and soul of our homestead, constantly exploring and discovering the wonders of nature.

From the moment you step foot on our land, you'll be enchanted by the lush forests, fragrant fruit trees, and the gentle buzz of our busy apiary. We take pride in cultivating vegetable garden and taking care our apple trees, producing not only sustenance but also a deep connection to the earth. And let's not forget our homemade apple delicacies and freshly baked bread that will leave your taste buds singing!

We are located 80 km from Ottawa and 120 from Montreal. On your free time you can visit either of those cities or go for bike rides (I have bikes to lend) around the beautiful area. We have long hiking trails on the property which offer the possibility to get lost for an afternoon while exploring and discovering the local nature and wildlife, including deer and wild turkeys.
