Description
Hi workawayers!!
Welcome to my profile page!
I'm Paolo a 36 years old guy who lives alone in Jesi.
I'm looking for help in my house : washing ,cleaning, cooking, doing some renovations and of course gardening (I'm sharing with a couple of friends, that have 5 children, an half-hectare garden).
Jesi is a 40.000 inhabitants town in "Le Marche Region" in the middle of Italy. It is about 40 km from Sirolo and Monte Conero (a popular seaside resort near Ancona) and about 30 km from the amazing caves of Frasassi, the second largest European geological complex.
My house is close to the center and it is easy to get there (5km, one hour of walk) and to the other near towns either by bus or with me, so it is possible give you a lift. I go to Jesi often, for work and groceries and would be happy to take you with me if you wish. On the weekends you have free time and can go on your own adventure or join me on mines!
There are a lot of beautiful places that you can visit and a lot of folk festivals that you can enjoy (most in the summer)!
I will be happy to share with you if you wanna have a good time together!
In August we have " Summer Jamboree" festival which is the international event, which takes also place in the beach town of Senigallia, on the Adriatic coast in the Marche region, is dedicated to the music and culture of 1940s and ‘50s America. And music is indeed at the center of the festival with rock and roll, rockabilly, swing, rhythm’ n’ blues and boogie concerts, shaking the town for nine days. Now, the event is considered one of the most important summer festivals in Italy and one of the top three festivals of this music genre around the world where rock and roll aficionados can listen to international artists, some of whom have never performed in Italy before.
I have a lot of passions: I like rock-climbing, going in to the caves, practicing “Systema”, the Russian Martial Art for self-defense that focuses on knowledge of yourself and on the free movements of the body without tension. Listen to music, dancing salsa and bachata (two famous Latin-American dances), animals, observe the sky night and nature and take care of children.
I choose the Workaway because it is an opportunity to share a little life with other people. I believe that staying in touch with people who come from other parts of the world can teach you new habits, lifestyles and cultures.
I look forward to meeting you so…see you soon!Types of help and learning opportunities
