  Description

  We are currently creating a small permaculture paradise on a garden plot (approx. 2,500 m2). It should become a fully-fledged seminar garden in 2 years at the latest. We are my wife, our 4-year-old son, our dog Bella, Merry the cat and me. Our house with holiday flats is in Zečevo Rogoznica, Dalmatia, 350 m from the sea. The garden is about 400 metres from the house. You can stay in a holiday flat for the duration of your stay.
  
  Wir erschaffen gerade auf einem Gartengrundstück (ca. 2.500 m2) ein kleines Permakultur Paradies. Es soll in spätestens 2 Jahren ein vollwertiger Seminargarten werden. Wir, das sind Meine Frau, unser 4 Jahre alter Sohn, unser Hund Bella, die Katze Merry und ich. Unser Haus mit Ferienwohnungen ist in Zečevo Rogoznica, Dalmatien, 350 m vom Meer entfernt. Der Garten ist ca. 400 m vom Haus entfernt. Wohnen dürft ihr für die Dauer des Aufenthalts in einer Ferienwohnung.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  There are wonderful little villages in the surrounding area that are great to explore outside the tourist season. We can provide the helper with a bike on request and also take them to interesting places. Of course, the sea invites you to linger. There are few tourists here out of season and it is an ideal time to get to know the true face of Dalmatia.
  We want to exemplify permaculture and pass it on to people. Our helpers benefit from this because they can combine their knowledge with practical work.
  The practical aspects are then quickly applied in conversations with the locals.
  
  In der näheren Umgebung gibt es wunderbare kleine Ortschaften, die außerhalb der Touristensaison super zu erkunden sind. Wir geben dem Helfer auf Wunsch ein Fahrrad und nehmen sie auch zu interessanten Orten mit. Selbstverständlich lädt das Meer zum Verweilen ein. Außerhalb der Saison gibt es hier wenige Touristen und es ist eine ideale Zeit, das wahre Gesicht Dalmatiens kennen zu lernen.
  Wir wollen Permakultur vorleben und an die Leute weitergeben. Davon profitieren unsere Helfer, denn sie können das Wissen gleich mit der praktischen Arbeit kombinieren.
  Wer die Sprache erlernen möchte, kann dies auf die hier mögliche Art machen: Ein besonderes Onlinekurs der Universität in Zagreb. Das Praktische ist dann in den Gesprächen mit den Einheimischen schnell angewandt.

  Help

  We sometimes have to dig holes in the stony ground. We have to build stone walls, plant and water trees and carry out minor manual labour.
  
  Wir müssen teilweise Löcher in den steinigen Boden graben. Steinwände errichten, Bäume pflanzen und gießen und kleinere handwerkliche Abreiten verrichten.

  Accommodation

  A holiday flat for one person alone. Everything you need to live is available. We would have lunch together. Everyone can have breakfast and dinner in their own kitchen. But we are flexible about that.
  
  Eine Ferienwohnung für einen alleine. Alles vorhanden, was zum Leben benötigt wird. Mittagessen würden wir gemeinsam. Frühstücken und Abendessen darf jeder in seiner eigenen Küche. Aber da sind wir flexibel.

  What else ...

  I myself usually have to work on the side. It would be nice if the person could work responsibly and independently and had a desire to create. In their free time, the person can explore the area and enjoy the sea. Nature lovers are guaranteed to get their money's worth.
  
  Ich selber muss nebenbei meist noch arbeiten. Schön wäre es, wenn die Person verantwortungsbewusst und selbstständig arbeiten kann und Lust am Erschaffen hätte. In der Freizeit kann die Person die Gegend erkunden, das Meer genießen. Naturliebhaber kommen garantiert auf ihre Kosten.
