Description
Hello!
We are a friendly and welcoming couple living in a lovely, spacious home in a charming little village in western Germany, near the Dutch border. Our neighborhood is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and we are lucky to have fantastic neighbors.
In our home, it’s just us and our beloved dog, who is already quite old and a little forgetful due to mild dementia. However, he is still very active and full of love! Because of his condition, he doesn’t like being alone for too long, which is why we are looking for someone to care for him when we are both at work. He doesn’t require much—just kindness, attention, and companionship.
I am a teacher, and my partner is an air traffic controller who works shifts. We would love to welcome someone who can not only look after our dog when needed but also help out a little with household tasks. In return, you will have your own private bedroom and bathroom in our home, as well as access to one of our cars, since public transport here is quite limited.
We would love sharing our home and culture and would be delighted to welcome someone who is interested in experiencing German life and learning the German language. I am a certified German teacher and also teach English.
If you are looking for a warm and open family, enjoy nature, and love dogs, we would love to hear from you!
Looking forward to meeting you!Types of help and learning opportunities

We love sharing our culture and would be happy to include you in our social life. You are welcome to join us when we meet up with friends or neighbors, as well as on our trips. If you're interested, you can also visit a German school with me to get a firsthand experience of the education system. Additionally, if you’d like to take on a part-time job alongside your dog-sitting duties, that is absolutely fine with us
