    Dear volunteers,

This is a horse farm near Berlin, We have about 66 horses and other animals such as pigs, goats, sheeps, dogs, and cats. Usually, there are always people who comes here to ride horses. We have a lot of work to do from feeding the horses to maintaining and cleaning the facility. If you like animals and don't mind getting dirty, this is the place for you.

    < Location >

It is located north of Berlin, approximately 30km from Berlin Mitte. You can easily come here by public transportation.

Take S bahn (S2, the green line) and come all the way up to Bernau station which is the last station of the S2. S2 is working every 20 minutes. you can take S2 in some stations but not all. This is the list of stations where you can take S2

    Anhalter Bhf
    Potsdamer Platz
    Brandenburger Tor
    Oranienburger Str.
    Bornholmer Str.

There are few more stations. Search for the Berlin subway map on google and find a green line to Bernau (S2)

There is also Regio train that comes to Bernau, you can get tickets in big train stations such as Hauptbahnhof, Südkreuz, Gesundbrunnen etc.

After you get off at Bernau station, you can take a bus 896 towards Biesenthal and get off at Bisenthal Shule. ( 7 stops )

And walk up about 100m from the bus station and you will see the green sign that says, "Reiterhof Biesenthal 1Km. Turn right from there, and walk about 1km straight. This way you will find lots of trees and beautiful yellow field along the way. You will see the farm on the left side.

If I have some time, I can go pick you up at Bernau station as well. Let me know at least 1 hour before your arrival at Bernau station, so that I can prepare and plan my schedule before.

    < Accommodations >

We have a room with some bunk beds, and also caravans and small rooms with bunk beds outside.
There is a shower inside of the building. There are no blankets so it would be nice if you can bring your own sleeping bag or some jackets and long trousers to put on at night. Also, bring your own clothes and shoes that are suitable for the farm works.
