Description
We are family of 6, including 12, 10, 5, and 2years old kids. Place where we live is at mountain side of Kochi, close to Lake Sameura. We are living in the mountain, having a dog, chickens, goats and honey bees. Our water is from the mountain. We use wood for cooking. We do hunting and fishing for food and growing vegetables(still not enough for self sufficient)..We are trying to live eco friendly so we do not use chemiclal detergents, shampoos and so on. Therefore, we don't want you to use chemical staffs and also strong perfume.
We want to practice permaculture in our property. We moved here about 4 years ago and still lots of things to be done. We welcome people who have strong passion to learn permaculture, cooking and all the things we do. We want people who want to do things together and experience life together. Please help cooking and clean up dishes.
On the weekend, we can take you to sightseeing, fishing, our friend’s house for dinner, and so on. We want to welcome you as a part of our family so if you are expecting to experience countryside Japanese life it would be a perfect place. But if you want more private time, or quiet atmosphere(our place is so noisy with kids and chickens), or clean place(your white shirts and shoes will be black after few days..) definitely not the best place. ALSO, we want people who try to be friendly with our kids. Our kids are shy and not speak English but we want you to communicate with them (at least TRY), play games together or so on. This is very important point of our acceptance.Types of help and learning opportunities
